On August 18, 2021, the General Administration of Customs took emergency preventive measures against a cold storage in the Netherlands and a processing fishing vessel in Germany, due to the positive nucleic acid test of SARS-Cov-2 in a sample of a batch of frozen Clupea harengus from an independent cold storage in the Netherlands and from a German processing fishing vessel. The national customs suspended the acceptance of cold storage in the Netherlands Parlevliet en Van der Plas Beheer B.V. (Registered number: NL6232EG) import declaration and German processing fishing vessel Oderbank Hochseefischerei GmbH Gefrierschiff “Helen Mary” ROS 785 (Registered number: DE MV 25007 EG) import declaration for 1 week from August 18. Product declaration will resume automatically after expiration.
